Hello

I hope everyone is doing well. Not a lot has happened since my last post, but I figured I could mention a few things. This is a picture of the girls at Jenny and Jamie's surprise birthday party. We had a lot of fun, though not all of us could drink. 3 of the above have babies on the way. Gretchen (with twins 1 boy/1 girl), Sabrina (girl!), and Jenny (boy)

The house is still for sale with no luck on the recent open house. They are still building new homes in the area and I think people are going that route. Our hope is that someone needs to move in right away and that will be our selling point.

In other news I am hoping to test for an open position in the Crime Lab. The only problem is I don't qualify for the position until November- due to a requirement of 2 full years on patrol. The position will be opened probably around September. I am keeping my fingers crossed that a miracle will happen and 1 of two things will occur. 1- No one else is interested in the spot. (yea right) or 2-nobody else meets the qualifications. OK 3- They love me so much they choose me anyway! HA HA HA

Finally, still no baby on the way.

UPDATE

OK, for those of you who I don't get to talk with weekly- let me fill you in. So I got pregnant in March and miscarried in April. I had two positive pregnancy tests in June and a week later Jack & I were at the ER again b/c I was bleeding. This time the ER test said I wasn't pregnant. Anyway, we went to Dr. Parks (the OBGYN) on Monday. She said that we should not think of this second "loss" as a miscarriage and that it appeared to be more of a chemical pregnancy. Basically, I should have listened and waited the 3-6 months before trying again. But you know what- that plain sucks...and lets face it you know me "I want it and I want it NOW!" S000000, even though this "was not a true miscarriage" the Dr. told us to wait 3 months at least before trying again. We'll see how that goes. I'm sticking to the "we aren't trying, but we aren't preventing either". Dr. Parks said she is not worried about testing for problems yet so that is a relief...on our pocket book. FYI- I just got a bill for $1,500.00 from the hospital to lay in a bed and have a period. As if losing a pregnancy isn't hard enough, now I have to give them all my money. SUX! Jack and I will keep you all updated with the baby makin' drama. Ohhh how easy it would be if only I were 14 or a crack whore on welfare buyin smokes with food stamps!
