BABY UPDATE

Well, today we had our 17 week appt. Dr. Parks said everything appears to be going great! We heard the heartbeat, which Ivory (the sweetest nurse) said sounded very strong. She said Baby Armstrong is very active b/c she was having to chase baby around my belly with the doppler. Dr. Parks said the tests from the last visit were all good. They drew some blood today to test for any genetic disorders.

OK- are you ready for the FANTASTIC news...I have had a weight gain of ZERO lbs from pre-pregnancy. WOO HOO that is the greatest thing I know you've ever heard. Now, are you ready for the picture of the belly?

Here we go........

How in the heck have I not gained 1 lb? I'm huge for 4 months- right! Not like I was Paris Hilton pre-pregnancy or anywhere close, but geeze. Who knows and I'm not gonna complain.

Our next visit is 1/18/2008. ULTRASOUND time!!! We will finally, hopefully be able to learn the sex of Baby Armstrong.

Finally- Name help please. We have decided on Braden Tyler Armstrong if we have a boy and Lilly ? Armstrong if it's a girl. We need a middle name for Lilly. Here is some we have thrown around...

Lilly Rayne, Lilly Peyton, Lilly Hayden, Lilly Madison.

Let us know if you have any ideas.

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!!

We go to the Dr. on Thursday 12/27/07 (17 weeks) to have some bloodwork done. They will be doing all the standard testing to make sure the baby is healthy. We will not get the results for a week or more, so we will be nervously awaiting them. Some time in mid January we will find out the sex of the baby. We have to wait until we reach 20 weeks to do that ultrasound, b/c they take measurements of the baby as well.

Finally, I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move for the first time last night. I was sitting on the couch at my brothers house for a Christmas party when...flick, flick, flick, flick, flick. It was like nothing I had ever felt before. Everyone told me it will feel like a butterfly's fluttering wings...NOPE. This felt more like- if someone flicked you lightly with their finger a few times- or as I've also heard it explained- popcorn popping. It was defintley awesome!

It's about time I put a belly picture up, but I don't have one yet. I will have someone take one for me this week and I will post it with my Dr. appt. update.

CAUTION: I'm HUGE already!!!!!!!! So big, so early people think I'm having twins when I tell them I'm only 4 months. LOL..... **NO I'M NOT!**
