HI

Well, the new floors are pretty much done. Jack had some detail work to complete this weekend...quarter round, doorways, caulking. They look so nice. A big THANKS to my parents for helping with the purchase of the flooring!!! I will give you a cut after resale. HA HA HA!

My mom came down on Saturday to help paint the baby furniture. Well, let me back up a bit. I wanted to use my white childhood furniture if we were going to have a girl. So now we know its a girl and I start the process of cleaning out Lilly's room. The white furniture did not hold up too great after the last painting...only a couple years back. I decided white is no longer a good idea. I found an adorable 'stained' crib, maple in color. OK have you ever tried to match paint to stain? It's next to impossible. So my Mom and I think we found the best possible match so we buy the paint and start the painting. After the first few rolls my first thought is Diarrhea...actually more like muddy red clay. Now remember Lilly's bedding is pinks and browns. We wanted to give the paint a chance to dry and see if it would spontaneously turn--AWESOME! Yeah right, it turned UT orange! HMMMMM maple, pink, brown, and orange- SWEET! Back to Lowes we went to find a new color. We finally did it! The furniture looks so cute. I used stencil to add pink flowers to the drawers. I will snap a few pics when we get everything back together. I am getting so excited to get Lilly's room done so it is ready for her.

Lastly, Jack made the comment yesterday "WOW you are getting so big!" He said he hasn't notice before because whenever he sees me I'm usually lying down. HA HA I will try to get an updated belly shot soon. It's difficult to get pictures of yourself when you are the normally the one taking all the pictures.

NEW FLOORS

Well, Jack and I spent the weekend installing laminate floors in the house. Thankfully Jack's Dad was able to spend Sunday helping him rip up the old floors and get the entry/living room done. I took off work on Monday and watched Jack finish the hall and kitchen. He has a few detailed things left before it is complete, but they look awsome. I'm so proud of Jack, he worked from ~7a-10p on Sunday and 7a-2a Monday. Yes; that is not a typo- *19 hours on Monday. What a Daddy will do for his little girl. I installed a dimmer switch for the living room light this weekend all by myself. I didn't shock myself and the house hasn't caught fire, yet! I took some before and after pictures for your viewing pleasure. Jack is available at the rate of $5.00 an hour to install flooring make checks payable to Jody's Flooring & More.

Lilly is doing great. She is moving quite a bit. Jack has not been able to feel her yet, I think we are a few more weeks away from that. We are slowly getting things together for her arrival. Next big project is to start the baby room. Here is a picture of her crib bedding.

Well, our appointment for Friday had to be rescheduled. We moved it up to Tuesday w/out letting anyone know so it could be a BIG surprise. Well...

For those of you who can't read an ultrasound, HA HA HA. The arrow is pointing at her lack of twig and berries.

I think we have decided on the name,

Lilly Nicole Armstrong

Here is Lilly's profile, she has a cute little nose and a belly just like her mama's! LOL OH, Lilly has both arms and legs! I was really worried about that. Dr. Parks said everything looks great and Lilly is weighing in at a whopping 10 oz. Now for the sad news...I have gained an insane 10 lbs in 3 weeks. Dr. Parks says that is perfectly fine because it's the only weight I've gained since before the pregnancy.

Leanne did a 4D scan for us. This shows us a view of Lilly's face, she had just pulled her fingers out of her mouth. You can see her face and part of her arms in this picture.
