Bluebonnets in bloom!

Well, spring is here and with it a patch of beautiful bluebonnets! This evening Jack, Lilly, and I loaded up and headed to Creekside Park to get some photos in the bluebonnets (before they were all trampled from photo ops). It was a gorgeous day, I just hadn't prepared for the extremely bright sunlight. Jack acted as my mobile shadow, which made for slightly odd photos. (Mainly because Lilly is concentrating more on Jack than my camera)
We had a great day and Lilly was an angel for all 362 photos I took. Her little personality is beginning to shine thru and she is a total ham! She is in a good mood about 90% of the time. The other 10% just lets me know it's nap or bottle time. We are enjoying her SO MUCH! What a blessing a child is, I LOVE HER- I LOVE HER- I LOVE HER!!! I can't say it enough and I know Jack feels the same. He is a wonderful Daddy. He would rather stay at home and her be in her own bed, than spend an evening out and her stay the night away.

To end our day we ate at Crabby Daddy's, what a great atmosphere, live band, and yummy food (very tasty crawfish)!

To my sweet Lillybug,
You make my heart smile everyday! As your Daddy has always said to me, I will say to you...
I Love you with all of my heart. You are my daughter, my love, my life, and I will always be proud to be your Mother.

Already 9 months old!

WOW, how time is flying. This will be a long post of pictures. Lilly has a bunch of things she would like to show everyone. First we will go over Lilly's 9 month Dr. visit. Mommy scheduled the appointment during her nap time, so Lilly was already having a rough start. She got in a quick nap while we waited (there were a hundred kids in the waiting room, mostly all sick) so we waited in a room across the hall- all by ourselves, it was very peaceful as you will see.

Then Lilly got her finger pricked and we found out she is border-line anemic. Dr. Haggerty said we just need to try feeding her more people food, and start weening off the baby food. She does not want her on formula by her 1 year visit. Oh, and thank goodness, her ears looked GREAT! As for the stats:

HEIGHT- 28.25" =75%
WEIGHT- 18lb 3oz =50%
HEAD- 18.25 =95%
TEETH =7

The changes I've seen in Lilly the past 2 weeks are incredible. I have pictures of some of her recent 1st (some are just silly)

Sooooo here we go...

LILLY MET HER GREAT NANA! (my Dad's Mother) G-Na was so excited to meet her, and bought Lilly her first Baby Doll...now named Gina!
LILLY CAN HOLD HER OWN BOTTLE! This started about 2 weeks ago. It makes it so much easier for me to get stuff done in the morning while she feeds herself.

LILLY WILL POINT AT THINGS! Here she is pointing at my parents cat, Nikki (named after Lilly's middle name) Nikki had just snipped Lilly on the hand and made her very upset. Lilly and Grandpa were wagging their finger at Nikki and telling her she was bad.
LILLY CAN CLAP HER HANDS! Lilly can also give high 5's, but we don't have a picture of that yet. (notice I said yet! I will photograph EVERYTHING) And yes that is a mohawk, I was playing with her hair and figured why not!
LILLY CAN FLY! Just playing around with Daddy...

LILLY CAN KICK BOX! Still playing...
LILLY LOVES TO SWING! More playing!

LILLY HAS MOVED UP TO A BIG GIRL TUB! I love this thing, not only does it save on water but when she slips and slides around its soft on her head. She loves that it quacks when you squeeze the beak.
On Lilly's birthday we went to Siete Leguas and...

The drink

The lime

The recovery

LILLY IS STARTING TO FEED HERSELF! This one has been rough, she does not have the pincher's down yet.

Lilly and her Uncle B!

We have been very busy this past week, driving back and forth from home to Conroe to visit with Nana and Gord. I have not had the opportunity to take Lilly's monthly pictures (the ones with her doggy). I will hopefully get that done in the next few days and add them in here. That's all this post needs is more pictures. LOL
To end this photo album post I will leave you with this great picture of Lilly and her G-Na.

Hi

Just a quick hello. I have been very busy lately and for once have no new pictures of Lilly ready to post. We have been trying to clear out the house in hopes it will help it sell. And cleaning...LOTS of cleaning. We had 3 showings today, they are coming about 5+ or so a week, but no offers yet. Lilly's Great Nana is in town this week and we will be spending all our free time with her. Tonight we went up to Grandma's house for dinner and I got to see my Nana for the first time since our wedding. It is really hard and I miss not seeing my "north of the border" family more often. We are actually hoping to take a trip up to Canada when Lilly is a little older. I would like to try taking her skiing or sledding.

Lilly has her 7th tooth coming in and I'm sure the 8th is not far behind. She is finally feeling better. Jack has asked me numerous times to remove the pictures of her with the runny nose, because she does not look cute in them. He actually said they were very disgusting. LOL I think it's all in fun for the memory book. Her first illness is definitely one for the records! We go to the Dr. for her 9 month appointment on Thursday. I will post some pics and stats then.

Good day for now!
