Once upon a time...

I have finally spent some time with pics and am now going to type the novel to accompany it.

Lilly is just shy of 10 months 3 weeks! She is doing so many new things now and I will tell you about some.

She finally figured out the crawling on hands and knees thing...but is now crawling on hands and feet. She pulls herself up on everything and stands really well now. Lilly is figuring out drawers and doors. Her favorite is playing the door stoppers and chewing the rubber stoppers off the ends- all the stoppers have now been removed and are in a safe place. Everything goes in Lilly's mouth doesn't matter how big or gross. I caught her the other day trying to stick her tongue in an outlet. (FYI-ALL my outlets have covers, she unplugged the carbon monoxide detector) Lilly is starting to notice and really study everything. She loves her dogs and I am certain she is now saying dog in her own way "daah" as she points at Kimber and Riley. Yet there is no sign of MAMA in her limited vocab! I am concerned about her long term memory since she manages to get her fingers pinched in the same drawer daily then scream about it for 5 minutes!

This is what Daddy calls her WAR FACE!
Grandpa was teaching Lilly about wine tasting.
Lilly trying to see Daddy working outside...and chewing on the window ledge at the same time.

Here is a picture of Lilly taking a chunk out of her nice convertible crib (Hhhhhhhhhh do I even need to comment further)

Chillin' on a park bench with her BFF!

Hanging out at the lake. Looks like she might end up with green eyes...LUCKY

Lilly's first bruise! Man kids heal fast this came and went in 2 days.

She loves to move and groove, starts dancing as soon as she hears music.

Standing like a pro.

She will no longer pose on her belly so this is her puppy pic for the month.

In the words of Simon and Garfunkel...

"Life I love you, all is groovy"

10 months young!

This was Lilly's Easter photo. I have to tell this little story about Lilly and the "must be drugged" bunny in the photo. I have never been so mortified in my life...and I know it wont be the last time! So the photographer puts this sweet bunny down next to Lilly and she takes her time checking it out. Well, after about two minutes she got the courage to poke it with her finger, I'm standing back saying "be gentle Lilly". No sooner do those words roll off my tongue Lilly has the rabbit by a fistful of fur and launches it across the room. I freak out and am feeling so embarrassed, my sweet baby just did that! Well the guy puts the bunny beside her again and fling, YES she did it again. This continued a couple times, I was almost in tears. During all this the bunny is calm as can be like it's totally cool with the abuse. I finally tell the guy maybe we should take some without the bunny. His response...naw it's OK they are used to it. Ughhhh, these poor little things.

I have had the crud yet again. I have not been motivated to take pictures, be on the computer, or do much of anything in my down time. I took some cough medicine yesterday that gave me that woozy pain med feeling. I kept feeling like I was going to pass out all day, and actually slept for most of it. I am so glad I did not take that stuff at work...DISASTER! I hope to spend some time updating pictures soon, but this is all I have for now.

FYI- We are in Option Pending status for the house. Our inspection went great! We are still looking for a new place, no luck yet.

We accepted an offer!

Sooooo, what a crazy day! Jack and I were out and about today while someone was looking at the house. We decided to go look at campers for fun and curiosity's sake. Well, we may need to buy one of those campers to live in because we accepted an offer on the house tonight.

We got our asking price because we got a THIRD offer this evening. Is it crazy that we know nothing about these people but feel bad anyway. I feel bad for the guy we didn't choose because I know what it feels like to want a house and lose it. I had a gut feeling about the female who's offer we accepted from the beginning, just hope it all works out.

If everything goes as planned we will be moving from Chateu de Avalon on May 15th. It hit both Jack and I tonight that things are really starting to happen and we will be leaving our first home soon.

I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow to get further info. I'm just glad the showings are finally over!

I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA! I will post some pics soon.

Recent News

First off I would like to say I am beginning to feel like I am burning the candle at both ends. For the past week I have had a huge bubble in my belly that won't pop. You know the "night before Christmas when your 10 years old" excitement. That is how I've been feeling 24-7 lately. I am having intense dreams about everything that I dwell on ALL day long. I wake up excited and anxious and go to bed the same way. What will tomorrow bring...

So to step back a few days. As many of you know our house is on the market again! We have had over 80 people come through our house it seems like at least 1 person every other day. This is annoying enough, but to go this long without any offers was starting to drive both Jack and I a little nutty. Even though my dad warned me "Don't look at houses yet, you will only be disappointed when they sell before yours" (why I don't listen I don't know, he has never given me poor advise EVER!)

Well, that is exactly what we did, we found a house and I fell in lust! I pictured all the wonderful things we could do there. All the paint colors and decorating. This is where the dreams come in, I was having such vivid dreams the other morning I woke up expecting to be in the master bedroom of my new house. (I think they put crack in my starbucks)

What do you think happens here, yup AGENTS WE HAVE ACCEPTED A CONTRACT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I could go on for days with that scream! When I saw that my heart sank. I got a tear in my eye then almost every one I know told me how it was meant to be. Uh, meant to be my house maybe. I was so sad. But it gets even better. This happened the day before we got the first offer on our house. So, I have since decided it was obviously NOT in the cards for us to get my dream home.

This brings us to our house. Yes we are now working with 2, two, dos, deux...offers. We got our first 2 days ago and the second yesterday evening. I don't know how all this works, but I am getting nervous that we haven't heard back from either counter offer from yesterday. We are so ready to move into a new home with some space to breathe.

My most recent infatuation has been with the delivery of my NEW camera. And as I was just starting to type this the UPS guy pulled up. ITS HERE! I have been waiting for 2 weeks to get this thing and can't wait to break into the box and see it...
